Results 4/9/13
After a tough loss to a talented Brooklyn Nets team the Sixers dropped to 31-46. Nick Young lead the team in scoring with 18 points. Spencer Hawes and Temple native Lavoy Allen tied for team high 6 rebounds. Evan Turner lead the team in assists with 5. The night wasn't much better for the Flyers as they fell to 17-19 after being defeated by the New York Islanders 4-1. Jakub Voracek accounted for the teams only goal. The night took a much needed turn for the Phillies (3-5) as they broke a two game losing skid to defeat the Mets by a score of 8-3. Michael Young added 3 hits which was the most by a Phillies player tonight. Howard, Young, and Mayberry hit the longball! As each team seeks improvement, comment on what you think Philadelphia teams need to do to bring a championship, World Series, or Stanely Cup to the city of Philly.
